NEW SPPRUCE WILL BE CLOSING

 

This notice is to inform you that since New Spruce opened its doors in late 2019 with hopes of providing much-needed mental health services in the area, our practice has faced numerous challenges. Despite our best efforts, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of New Spruce LLC effective August 1st, 2024.

Among some of the many challenges that we have faced and that are beyond our control are persistently low insurance reimbursements, excessive administrative tasks required by insurances to process disability claims, medication prior authorizations, claim approvals, etc. Additionally, it has proven difficult to find appropriate collaboration with other providers/institutions as well as finding services such as social workers and therapists. Regrettably, we do not anticipate any improvement in these areas any time soon and we cannot continue to struggle indefinitely.

We regret that we will not be able to continue to serve you. Our years have been filled with challenges but more importantly with many rewarding experiences. Best wishes for your health and happiness.
